Kippt and SSL connections

I’m happy to tell you that we have started using SSL connections with Kippt. This means that your connection will be encrypted and you don’t need to worry about un-secure WLAN connections anymore. To access the site with SSL, just visit https://kippt.com

This might get a bit technical but we decided not to enforce SSL at this point so the site will work without it as well. Reason for this is that our bookmarklets and Chrome extension needs to be updated to work with SSL connections. We have issued an update for the Chrome extension which you can download here. You can also update it by clicking Update extensions now button from Chrome’s extension page. The extension should update automatically after a little while and we’ll be starting to enforce SSL after a week or so. Our signup and login pages will use HTTPS by default from now on.
